Click Install in Codex on the pet’s page. Codex opens its installer with the selected character and variation ready to go.
Keep creating.
Your companion joins your workspace. If a newly installed pet doesn’t appear immediately, restart Codex or reload its pet list.

Download the ZIP on any pet’s page and extract it. Move the folder to your Codex pets directory, then restart the app.
